Additional services available to guests staying in our Three Abbey Green guest house

On this page you'll find information about the various extra services we provide, some in conjunction with other local companies, to help make your stay as memorable as possible. Laundry service

If you require a laundry service just ask for a Speedywash bag and bring it to reception before 10 am. We will telephone for a collection and your laundry will be returned the same day.

This service costs £12 per load (single colour). If you have a mixed load, separate the coloureds from whites in TWO bags and this split load will cost £18. If you have a special request i.e. cold wash or you do not wish for your items to go in a dryer - just put a note in the bag.

Ironing is available at additional cost (contact us for prices) and Dry cleaning is available on a 48 hour turnaround.

Babysitting

We have on the staff an experienced Norland Nanny (trainee). She is CRB checked and has excellent references . Please contact us for  rates and conditions and to check availability.

Massage

We recommend local Masseuse Louise Goodsman. To book an appointment you can contact her on 07753 401164.

Chauffeur service

We recommend Star Chauffeurs, a Bath-based company specialising in luxury travel in and around the South West of England. They operate two licenced vehicles - an E-Class silver Mercedes (4 seats), and a silver Chrysler Voyager (6 seats).  The Mercedes is perfect for smaller groups and day trips.  The Chrysler seating can be reconfigured and has lots of space for luggage. City Car Club

City Car Club is the cheapest, greenest way to rent a car. There's no parking fees and no delays, you pay only for when you actually need the car, and there's no paperwork and no waiting: just jump in and drive away. Available on a pay-as-you-go basis, you can book the cars for as little as half an hour, or as long as you like. There are daily rates available too if you need a car for that little bit longer. Three Abbey Green, in conjunction with the local tourist office, has prepared three itineraries for sightseeing daytrips from Bath including Stonehenge and ancient Wessex, Somerset - Wells Cathederal, Glastonbury and Cheddar. There is a further trip to the Cotswolds fully documented with places to visit and maps to show the route. Contact us if you'd like to receive details of these itineraries.

Parking Permits 

We have a small number of parking permits for guest use. These permits allow central parking on the same terms as 'residents' ( terms supplied on issue). Parking permits are issued against a GBP50 cash deposit at check-in, on a first come first served basis. The deposit is fully refundable when the permit is returned at check-out. Any donations for the use of the permit towards our charity, Children's Hospice Southwest, would be gratefully received.

Car Hire

We have a deal with Hertz Rental which can save you money on your car hire. Please ring/email us for the CPD number and quote this when booking your car.

Cookery courses

Three Abbey Green is delighted to team up with Bath based Cookery Coach who offer fantastic cookery classes ideal for Hen parties  and small groups wanting to do something that's a bit different while staying in Bath. The classes are hosted in the apartments or in the main kitchen of Three Abbey Green and cover an array of different cuisines from Indian to Italian.

Cookery Coach also offers a full day course called Flavours of Bath where in the morning we explore the gastronomic delights Bath has to offer and then head back to Three Abbey Green for a sumptuous cookery lesson. www.cookerycoach.co.uk
