Bath in the sun, there’s a deal to be done!

At last, some sunshine! The buildings in Bath built in Georgian stone are looking amazing –
the sun really enhances the beauty of the city. Now the sun has come out, it is time for our
visitors to come out to play too.

It’s been a tough few months for independent businesses in Bath, with the opening of
several new hotels threatening to overwhelm the small independent accommodation
providers. Then the weather did its best to deter anyone from going out of their own front
door, leaving restaurants and cafes unable to fill their tables and shops with fewer
customers.

To encourage you to visit Bath, we have a special offer for anyone who can stay with us for
two nights or more. Click here to access it. We also have the Bath Reward Card available for
all guests with a myriad of great offers to help you to save money on food and activities.

The local traders are getting in on the action too. May 20th marks the start of a regular
monthly Sunday market in Bath and it’s happening right outside our front door in Abbey
Green. The Independent Bath Market will feature up to 25 stalls. The traders are selected
small independent family businesses, makers, growers, crafters, artisans and producers
from the local area. We are all delighted to support the second year of this initiative. The
Market will happen on the third Sunday of every month.

As a family business, we also wanted to support those groups who are there to help us in
these challenging times. To this end, we have joined the Health Staff Discounts, Blue Light
Card scheme and Defence Discount Service and can offer a 10% discount to anyone working
in the NHS, the emergency services and the Armed Forces. The discount will apply to any
room, not already advertised at a discounted rate. You must ask for the discount when
booking and produce the relevant membership card or proof of occupation on arrival.

shown on Channel Four in March.
